On December 16th 2004, Paul sent his poem expressing his sentiments of the season to be shared with all his fans. Thank you Paul for your continued generousity in the spirit of giving.

Listen to the Silence

Listen to the Silence….

 between

snow flakes,…

 between

breaths,…

 between

 heart beats….

Listen to the Silence echo through eternity.

It is not empty. Not a Void.

It is filled with longing
and belonging,…

one to another,…

each to each,…

all to all.

It is the Eternal Everything of which we are all a part….

the Silence,…

And the noise….

FEAR

"Fear, ...it's an amazing thing

It wraps its arm around you

It smothers your breath

It holds your heart in the palm of its hand

It thrills your life to death."

Poetry of '72

Flowers.
Petalled lips bleeding rainbows
from living green.
Leaning in the air
Nodding to the sun
Trying to swim.

'72

Cat nap sly
Tongue lapped fur
Wild whispers of whiskers
Soft downy ears
And the gutteral roar
of purple gurgles
in velvet collars.

'72

All in a night's work
The moon sighed as it
rolled down the night sky.

'72

Monday should have been 'anyday'
Falling anywhere...
Anytime...
Amongst all the am's and pm's
and celestial navigations.

'72

I'm waking to too many mornings
lit in black
etched in sand
and not even the mercy
of a yawn.

'72

A talking box
scribbling thoughts
etched in images
on the sleeping gray.
And that's life...
the one we try to know
always be
even duplicate
never, never to deviate.
Only, where's the marching band?

'72

Judi of the tulips
Flowing through waves of purple
and veined gray,
lifting green shadows
through light passing dreams.
Rolling through moss and clover
of hip high laughter
Knowing no pass but bird's song
and mind of snow crystals
falling across the sky.

'72

Some heavy rock
or boulder
leaning on my time
making me grow sideways
pinching my toes
and too big to lean against.
