KOJACK: "Down a Long and Lonely River"(episode # 1.19) March 20, 1974Paul Michael Glaser as "Lou Giordano" Lou runs to Mac’s house for help. Mac calls Alan to meet him at West 11 th Street to hear how Lou’s situation really went down. Meanwhile, Kojack and Crocker interrogate Billy Deluca about the setup. He tells Billy that info about his squealing will get out if he doesn’t tell him the setup deal. With assurance of protection, Billy finally tells all about the setup with Albert Danzig.
Alan shows up and is confronted at gunpoint by Lou. He is teary and upset over his ordeal and threatens Alan for more information on the setup. Alan continues to refuse to give it to him “concerned” for Lou’s fate. Lou points the hand gun at Alan’s face and clicks the hammer to load the chamber. Lou demands to know everything he knows. Alan tells him that he had nothing to do with it and Lou clicks the hammer of the gun in Lou’s face. Lou now tells him about the filed down firing pin. “Would you have told me if you knew this gun wouldn’t fire?” Alan gives in and tells him the information he wants and agrees to get Dansig into the office.
