KOJACK: "Down a Long and Lonely River"

(episode # 1.19) March 20, 1974

Paul Michael Glaser as "Lou Giordano"

“Do you remember this? Do you know how many times I thought about you with this gun” he tells her. “..Russian Roulette, but the truth is that you were putting this gun to my head. That’s when I decided you were gonna have help. …That’s why I decided to rip off the company”. He is hurting and confused as to why Elena would set him up with a gun whose firing pin was filed down. “I gotta know how this all came down, now tell me” he shouts. Caring for his safety, she refuses to tell him. The unpleasant banter between them continues until a shot if fired from the door killing Elena instantly. The gun man escapes through the back door almost knocking Lyndsey over with Lou in hot pursuit. Lyndsey begs him to stay instead of running away from the scene. She too runs down the stairs as Kojack and his team arrive at the scene. An APB is called in for Lou as a frantic Lyndsey tells Kojack that he didn’t do it. Kojack and Crocker investigate the scene thoroughly. “If you were an impetuous Italian, would go to the door and fire long distance” Kojack has one of his men take Lyndsey home.
