Kojack consults with Lou’s arresting officer, Burke, before his parole officer, Cleveland Watson. The arresting officer is surprised by Lou’s actions. He admits that Lou was set-up by Billy Deluca and that Lou is a good person, deserving of a new start and will do what he can for him. Kojack calls his office and tells Crocker about his findings. Kojack heads off to see Watson as the search for answers and Lou continues.

Alan meets with Danzig and tells him that Lou knows something and that he is on his way to see Elena. Alan fears that she will talk. Danzig tells him that its his problem and his solution.

Lou heads to Elena’s place, finding her not at home, he sits and waits while flashbacks of her attempting suicide come into focus.

Kojack consults with Watson about Lou’s history and wants his help. He asks him to delay an arrest warrant for Lou who is now in violation of his parole. He finally agrees and gives Kojack 24hours to find him.

Meanwhile, Lyndsey calls all the nightclubs searching for Elena. Finally, she calls the “Tom-Tom Club” and learns that Elena is performing on stage at this very moment. Lyndsey races to the club to confront her about Lou.

Detective Stavros and Crocker find out that Elena’s stage name is Rozelle and they continue to search for her.

A money collector appears at her door and lets himself in. He begins to search for money he is owed when Lou, hiding in a dark corner, informs him this is private property. At gun point, the money collector tells Lou where she works.; the Tom-Tom Club in the west village.

Detective Stavros rushes into Kojack’s office tapping a beat on Kojack’s file cabinet. “What’s with the boom boom boom, Stavros?” Kojack asks. The TomTom Club he replies. “Here, bang on this” Kojack suggests as he places an upside down cup on his desk.

Kojack, Sergeant Bobby Crocker and Detective Stavros head off to the club.

Lyndsey goes back stage to find Elena and tells her that she is a friend of Lou’s. She tells him that Lou is looking for her. “I don’t want to see him” she tells Lyndsey just as Lou enters the room. He asks her to wait out back and that he will be right out. He is determined to settle the score and find out who was behind his arrest. Lou approaches Elena after he tells Lyndsey to leave.
